Paul T. Adams MD is the founder and director of the Optimum Orthopaedics Institute.

Dr. Adams has been a fully licensed physician since 2001. He has worked in Surgery since graduating from medical school. Dr. Adams worked as a registrar in orthopedics, urology and then general surgery for three years. In that time he gained valuable experience and enhanced his basic surgical skills. He then entered an orthopedic surgery residency, which required two years rotating through general surgery and the surgical specialties. This was followed by four years of orthopedic training.

He is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, and completed his Orthopaedic residency tab at the Mona campus in Jamaica. Dr. Adams then did a year of fellowship training in Knee & Hip arthroplasty. This was followed by a ACGME accredited fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports medicine in Philadelphia (2013-2014).
